Habitat For Humanity
This was a great weekend. LifePoint joined up with Habitat For Humanity and helped put up siding on one house and various other tasks on other houses. I would like to take this moment to say how proud I am of all of those at LifePoint who came out to serve, some in spite of sickness. It was a lot of fun and a great experience. Be looking for more opportunities in the future.
As some of you know we have not had a band for a few months. Myk has been doing a great job solo but this past Sunday Josh and Derrick stepped up to turn us into a 3-piece. It was great. I am always leery when people say they play an instrument or sing but these guys were great. It was just so much nicer hearing the drums and bass drive a bit. I look forward to what is to come in the future.
Yesterday we also had our First Sunday Dinner. The theme was deli free for all. It was awesome. I have to say, there was a pretty big crowd. I love hanging out with everyone at LifePoint.
On a side note Jenny and Clark invited everyone to their house to watch the Patriots / Colts game. I think I was the only actual Patriots fan so I knew that if they lost I would be taunted and if they won I would be scorned. I am used to both. In the end the best team won. Sorry Jenny.
