I would like to say that this is how I did it but I learned it the hard way. What am I referring to? Core values of course. These are the things that are most important to you. They determine not only who you are but where you are going. My mistake was not in not having core values at all but in trying to make it fit my launch team after the fact. What it caused was a whole lot of people chiming in on what they thought was important but with no real direction.
It is now my firm belief; some might even say core value, that you build your launch team on your core values. If your team knows what’s important to you from the beginning it will save a lot confusions in the future. You can read about why I feel core values are so important here. You can also follow my thoughts on my own core values here. I hope this help and I would love to here your thoughts on the topic.
